- If your shipment is 96 inches or longer, a fee of $35-$85 will be added per truckline requirements.
- Be ready to unload the shipment and have someone ready to help if necessary. Drivers are not obligated to assist.
- Inspect the shipment for external and internal damage and verify the count of all pieces while the driver waits.
- If you accept the shipment with damages or shortage, mark the driver's paperwork "Damaged" or "Short". This will help the claim process.
- If you sign for the shipment free and clear, you own it. There will be no recourse for damaged or missing items.
- If you refuse the shipment, let us know immediately so we can authorize a return to repair/replace the goods.
